Butter Cookies


Ingedients:
  • All Purpose Flour.....1 Cup
  • Butter (room tempreature).....1 Stick (8 TBP)
  • Sugar.....1/3 Cup or less
  • Salt.....1/4 tsp
  • Egg Yolk.....1/2
  • Cream.....1/2 TBP
  • Vanilla Essence.....1/2 tsp
Steps:
  1. Preheat oven at 375oF.
  2. Mix egg yolk, cream and vanilla together in a small bow.
  3. Cream butter until fluffy (4-5 minutes on a mixer).  Add sugar and beat until homogenous.
  4. Add the egg mixture into the creamed butter and continue mixing until combined.
  5. Add the flour and salt and mix until combined.
  6. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  7. Fill the pastry bag with the dough and sqeeze it to form a two inch circle. Make one tray.
  8. For jam, or almond butter fillings, make a dimple in the center of the dough with a wet thumb or the back of a round spoon. Spoon the jam or butter to fill the dimple.
  9. Bake for 13-15 minutes.
