Ingedients:
- All Purpose Flour.....1 Cup
- Butter (room tempreature).....1 Stick (8 TBP)
- Sugar.....1/3 Cup or less
- Salt.....1/4 tsp
- Egg Yolk.....1/2
- Cream.....1/2 TBP
- Vanilla Essence.....1/2 tsp
- Preheat oven at 375oF.
- Mix egg yolk, cream and vanilla together in a small bow.
- Cream butter until fluffy (4-5 minutes on a mixer). Add sugar and beat until homogenous.
- Add the egg mixture into the creamed butter and continue mixing until combined.
- Add the flour and salt and mix until combined.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Fill the pastry bag with the dough and sqeeze it to form a two inch circle. Make one tray.
- For jam, or almond butter fillings, make a dimple in the center of the dough with a wet thumb or the back of a round spoon. Spoon the jam or butter to fill the dimple.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes.
