Chiffon Roll - cake flour recipe

Ingredients:
  • 2 Egg Yolk (large)
  • 3 Egg White (large)
  • Milk 66ml
  • Oil 34g
  • Cake Flour 66g
  • Baking Powder 3/4 tsp
  • Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 48g

Steps:
  1. Preheat Oven 360oF
  2. Grease & line cake pan with parchment paper
  3. Beat Egg Yolks till color turns pale (power mixer medium speed)
  4. Add Milk (room temp.) slowly into yolk and continue the mixing with a hand whisk.
  5. Add Oil slowly into the yolk mixture.
  6. Add vanilla extract.
  7. Sift Flour & Baking Powder into Yolk mixture (in 3 batches). Mix till just combines.
  8. Beat Egg White till firm peaks. Add sugar in 3 batches.
  9. Fold egg white into yolk mixture in 3 batches.
  10. Bake at 355oF for 25 minutes. (roll recipe, bake for 10-13 minutes)
  11. Remove from oven and invert to cool.
